Ingredients

  • oil – 2 tbl spn
  • Curry leaves – 6 nos
  • Tomato chopped – 2tbl spn
  • Salt -1/2 tsp
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 1 tbl spn
  • Green chilly chopped - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
  • Onion chopped - 2 tbl spn
  • Turmeric -1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt - 1. 1/4 th cup
  • Besan - 1 . 1/2 tbl spn
  • Ginger chopped - 2 tsp

Method

  1. Whisk curd with besan and water and keep aside. Heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they crackle add the curry leaves. Add onions, ginger and green chilies and sautethem. Once they sweat add the tomatoes. Toss them and add turmeric.
  2. Quickly stir it and add the yogurt. Season with salt and put back on flame and cook till it thickens. Serve hot garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
