Ingredients

  • Tomato - 1 kg
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Cook for 20 mins

Method

  • Roughly cut the tomatoes and puree them in a blender. Strain the tomatoes to extract the puree minus the seeds and skin. Add it to a pan and cook for 20 minutes. It should be very thick, at this stage remove from heat and completely cool it. You can store it in fridge and use within 10days. Alternatively you can deep freeze the puree and use it over 3 months.
