Besan Ladoo – No one can resist the smell of Besan when you cook with ghee. No festivity is complete without a methai, and nothing compares if it is home made.
Yields: 2 KG Servings
- Besan - 500 gms
- Turmeric - 5 gms
- Ghee - 375 gms
- Sugar fine grain or Burra - 1.25 kg
- Almonds & Pista chopped - handful
- Heat ghee and cook besan on slow heat till it starts to brown. Remove from flame and add turmeric. Cool it completely and then add sugar. Add cardamom powder and nuts. Now using your hands take small portions in your hand and shape it round with your hands. Serve them.
