Ingredients

  • Carrots grated (thick) - 4 cups
  • Sugar - 3/4th cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Pista chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 3/4th cup
  • Desi Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Khoya grated - 1/2 cup

Method

  1. Add grated carrots to a pan.
  2. Heat the pan and cook on medium hot till carrots start sweating.
  3. Now add sugar and cook till all the moisture is evaporated.
  4. Add desi ghee and stir.
  5. Pour milk, sprinkle cardamom powder, pista, almonds, cashew nuts.
  6. Mix and now add khoya and turn off the heat.
  7. Stir so that khoya mixes nicely with the Carrots.
  8. Serve hot.
