Ginger Ale (Home made) or Ginger Squash
Serves - 20

Ginger paste - 1 cup
Turmeric - ¼ tsp
Water - 1½ lt
Sugar - 1 cup
Honey - ½ cup
Mint leaves - handful
Ice Cubes - few
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Water or Soda Water - to top up

Method
In a pan add ginger, turmeric, water and sugar. Bring to a boil & cook for 25mins on medium heat. Remove from heat and strain it. Once cooled add honey mix and you can keep this concentrate in fridge for a month and a half. To make a glass of ginger ale add 2 tbsp of the ginger concentrate in a glass, handful mint leaves, few ice cubes, 1 tbsp of lemon juice and top it up with either water or soda water. Serve chilled in summers and the same can be warmed and served in winters.
