Ingredients

  • Oil – ¼ cup oil
  • Cumin – 2 tsp
  • Bayleaf – 1 no
  • Onion chopped – 1 cup
  • Tomato chopped – 2 cup
  • Ginger chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Green chillichopped – 1 chilli
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • Chillipowder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method

In a pan add oil, bayleaf and jeera and stir. Add chopped onion and keep stirring till brown. Add chopped garlic, ginger and saute. Add chopped green chilli and stir till the onions are completely brown. Add a dash of water.

Add turmeric, chilli powder and salt and stir. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook till tomatoes are mashy approx 15mins. The oil will ooze out from the sides. Add a dash of water and bring to a quick boil. This is ready.
