Ingredients

  • Rocket Leaves – 1 cup
  • Spinach leaves – 1 cup
  • Green Chilly chopped – 1 no
  • Ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Onion sliced - 1cup
  • Cheese Cubes - 10 nos
  • Besan - 1 cup
  • Hing - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Ginger Chopped - 1tbsp
  • Oil - to Deep Fry

Method

  • Wash and dry the rocket(arugula) leaves and place them in a bowl. Now add besan, sliced onions, green chiily, ajwain, hing, salt, chilly powder, turmeric, ginger chopped and a splash of water to make a thick batter. Mix well and take a small portion in your hand about the size of a golf ball. in the center place a cube of cheese. Shape into a round ball and immediately deep fry on medium heat. Remove once it gets a ight brown colour from the outside.
