Granola is a breakfast cereal consisting of rolled oats, fruits, and nuts. It may or may not be sweetened. For this recipe you can use mixed breakfast cereals of your choice with nuts.

Ingredients

  • 2 1⁄2 cups granola
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp almonds, chopped 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup yoghurt (thick) 1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp jam (any)
  • 1⁄2 cup fruits, chopped

Method

  1. Whisk the yoghurt with the vanilla extract. In another bowl, whisk the jam.
  2. In 2 separate glasses, add a thin layer of granola. Now add 2 big scoops of yoghurt to both the glasses. In one glass, add a thin layer of jam, then add some chopped almonds. Add some more yogurt and garnish with some almonds.
  3. In the other glass, add chopped fruits and then a thin layer of honey and pumpkin seeds. Add some yoghurt and garnish with pumpkin seeds. Serve immediately.
  4. Use seasonal fruits of your choice. If berries are in season then you are in luck as they add that magic tang to this simple and healthy recipe.
